About Ana

Ana advises the leaders of public- and private-sector organizations, helping them drive lasting transformation, proactively manage adverse events, and respond to crises. She has deep experience in serving clients on diversity, inclusion, ethics, conduct, and culture transformations.

Since joining McKinsey, Ana has advised leading institutions at critical inflection moments. She combines her technical expertise in risk, culture, and change management with extensive leadership-development capabilities to help senior executives take decisive action in the moments that matter.

Ana specializes in circumstances of unusually high business uncertainty, rapidly evolving crises, and once-in-a-generation transformation. Whether the initiating circumstance is a cyberattack, cultural issues within a company, a shifting regulatory environment, or an aspirational transformation, she creates a clear path forward and drives a transformational program that leaves the organization stronger as a result.

For example, Ana led a crisis-response effort at a fast-growth company affected by deep-seated cultural challenges. By leveraging McKinsey’s capability in crisis response, culture, diversity, and inclusion, the company rapidly stabilized the situation and transformed its culture. Ana also directed a multiyear crisis-response effort at a leading multinational institution, setting up the nerve center, creating a proactive stakeholder-engagement strategy, and addressing the root causes.

Ana is a leader of McKinsey’s diversity and inclusion work. She has led multiple diversity and inclusion transformations—from implementing early-stage steps (aspiration setting and current-state analytics) to devising a company-specific business case to driving specific interventions that move the needle. Ana is also a leader within GLAM, McKinsey’s LGBTQ network.

She speaks regularly on diversity, inclusion, and crisis response.
