Alexandre coleads the McKinsey Digital Practice and also leads our operator network services. He has extensive experience leading telecommunications network transformations and is the global coleader of McKinsey’s network 360 solutions. Since joining the firm, Alexandre has served more than 20 global operators on issues involving strategy, market entry, operations, organization, and sourcing. He also works with clients in the aerospace, private-equity, and institutional-investing sectors on digital transformation, portfolio strategy, and mergers and acquisitions.
Examples of Alexandre’s recent engagement experience include the following:
- defining the AI road map and launching value capture for an airline to increase EBITDA and restructuring or rent costs by 15 percent
- rethinking and digitizing the teaching journey in aerospace to improve pilot and instructor experience and quality
- leading the procurement, network, and IT workstreams of a holistic $1.3 billion cost program across two Latin American integrated operators
- building a complete telecommunications and infrastructure capex demand model to forecast labor supply and demand in the United States
- coleading three telecommunications due diligences addressing market outlook, cost synergies, future operating model, and market entry
- leading a $350 million network cost transformation for an Australian fixed and mobile operator across operating expenditures, capital expenditures, procurement, and labor structure
Before joining McKinsey, Alexandre worked as a principal engineer for integrated cable companies. He is also a registered professional engineer.
