Helps financial-services and private-equity clients achieve superior performance by driving innovation with new technology

Alex is a senior leader in our Financial Services, Private Equity & Principal Investors, and McKinsey Digital Practices. In his 2 decades with McKinsey, he has served leading institutions around the world to improve their performance. Alex’s work has covered a broad range of assignments on performance transformation, corporate turnarounds, organizational design, operational improvement, digital and technology enablement, sourcing, and corporate, business-unit, and growth strategy.

He now coleads our automation and artificial intelligence work globally, helping institutions drive innovation through new technologies. In that role he advises CEOs, CFOs, and COOs in all industries, and speaks frequently on these topics.

In addition to his client work, Alex founded our CFO-focused work in 2001 and continues to counsel CFOs on their enterprise and functional roles. He also cofounded our work on corporate and business functions. As part of our rotational-leadership culture, Alex has led various practices on strategy, operations, technology, organization, and sourcing.

Outside of his work with McKinsey, Alex serves as a trustee of Prep for Prep, an internationally recognized not-for-profit dedicated to developing leaders through access to superior education and opportunities for New York City’s most promising students of color. In that capacity he chairs the technology committee of the organization’s board. Before joining McKinsey, Alex was a Fulbright Scholar in France.
