About Ajay

Ajay is a leader of the firm’s Pharmaceuticals & Medical Products Practice. He brings more than 25 years of global experience in advising top management on strategy, commercial excellence and growth, R&D, and organization issues.

In addition to medical device, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology companies, Ajay has also served integrated health systems, academic medical centers, post-acute providers, drugstore chains, specialty pharmacies, pharmacy benefit managers, and other intermediaries.

Examples of his recent client work include the following:

  • developing programs to help a medical-technology company accelerate double-digit adoption of a new surgical product
  • supporting the top team of a leading global company in redesigning their organization to sustain long-term growth
  • advising a leading pharmaceutical company on a multibillion-dollar acquisition and subsequent integration to capture full value
  • developing a digital-marketing-excellence program to accelerate growth with better return on investment
  • launching the comprehensive sales-excellence and services-stimulation effort of a leading medical-technology company

Ajay was a President’s Gold Medal winner at the Indian Institute of Technology, where he earned his bachelor of technology degree; he was also an Arjay Miller Scholar at Stanford University, where he earned his MBA. He is a member of the Keystone Board of the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab and is active in the Chicago community.
