Trusted by global leading financial institutions for his deep expertise in technology transformations, strategy, agile ways of working, and digital business building

Peter leads McKinsey’s work in digital and analytics in Europe. In his advisory work, he helps financial institutions pursue technology transformations. This support includes helping executives improve their technology architecture while they also put in place more agile ways of working.

His hands-on executive experience includes seven years as CIO, where he led a transformation effort that resulted in substantial percent cost reductions while ING became a top-3 employer for tech talent in the Dutch market.

Peter currently serves on the supervisory board of the Dutch Council of Refugees, an organization that advocates for refugees and asylum seekers as they transition from entry to integration into Dutch society. Previously, he was a member of the supervisory board of Equens, a leading pan-European payment services provider
