Jasper is a senior partner in McKinsey’s Amsterdam office, where he leads our work in service operations and global end-to-end customer-journey digitization.

He has been instrumental in innovating transformation processes within services industries through lean, cross-silo customer-journey optimization, and digitization.

Jasper assists his clients with designing, piloting, implementing, and scaling end-to-end transformation programs. These include capability-building and customer-experience components, in sectors as varied as financial services, telecommunications, energy, consumer goods, and government.

He assisted a major multinational financial institution with designing and delivering its multiyear end-to-end digitization program, covering more than 30 processes. The wide-ranging impact includes an 80 percent reduction in time needed to open an account and significant improvements in customer experience. The client has become a flagship of the new digital way of working and hosts forums in which peers can exchange their digital-transformation experiences.

He helped a large European insurance company move from financial distress to market leadership in just a few years through a transformation program focused on building the confidence and capabilities of the entire organization—from the leadership team to the front line. He has shaped similar programs for leading companies across Europe, North America, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East.

In all his work, Jasper is passionate about developing leadership skills among his clients and colleagues. The transformation programs he leads transfer McKinsey’s knowledge and capabilities to client organizations. He creates peer-to-peer networks for his clients, through efforts such as “inspiration tours” to learn from the best innovators in service operations around the globe.

Jasper also works with the Dutch public sector, helping it to achieve world-class productivity. He sees this as essential if the Netherlands is to retain and strengthen its role as a world hub for innovation.
