Ignacio Quesada

Ignacio is a Partner in McKinsey’s Mexico City office and a leader of the Transformation practice in Mexico. With over 20 years of experience in the energy and financial sectors and holding key positions in the Mexican public sector, he has advised several companies in turnaround efforts. Ignacio has covered interim management roles in the asset management, credit advisory, and liquidation sectors.

Ignacio’s recent client work includes:

  • Leading the transformation of a regional construction elements company with significant opportunities to grow extensively in new business segments
  • Supporting a media company on their turnaround program.

Prior to McKinsey, Ignacio served as Board member and chief financial officer for a petroleum company in Mexico. Before that, he was chief of staff for the Treasury Minister and the Social Development Minister in the Mexican government.

Ignacio is fluent in Spanish, English, and Portuguese.
