McKinsey is like a university; you will always learn here.

Rewarding and meaningful experiences

One of the most memorable experiences occurred at the education mini Master’s training in Dubai. Everyone from McKinsey who is passionate about education attended. It was inspiring to connect with people in different offices about the impact we are having on education worldwide. I am most excited by the impact we have on our clients and society.

Charting your own course at McKinsey

I want to help make people’s lives better. So, I came to McKinsey with an established desire to work in the public sector. I was able to pursue my passion and chart my own course by establishing the Middle East Knowledge Hub’s service line on Education. I was encouraged to develop knowledge and tools and explore different ways of delivering impact through on-site and remote staffing. With a group of talented colleagues, we then expanded the Education service line to the broader Public and Social Sector practices.

Work Environment

McKinsey is all about collaboration. I would have not been able to make my own McKinsey without the support of leadership, my peers, and clients. Within the Middle East Knowledge Hub, we collaborate constantly – formally and on the fly. During client projects, I have reached out to the global McKinsey Knowledge Network. The support I receive is often key to making our project successful.

The People at McKinsey

My colleagues are smart, driven, intellectually-stimulating individuals. Yet, the office is made up of diverse people with unique personalities. My colleagues include practicing doctors and writers.

Work-Life Balance

When I needed flexibility, McKinsey has delivered. Because of a strong maternity leave policy I was able to take time off with my newborn and then return to work knowing I’m supported.
