The McKinsey Global Institute’s (MGI) new research, Smart cities: Digital solutions for a more livable future, assesses 60 smart city applications and quantifies their potential for impact on various aspects of the quality of life. The report also examines 50 smart cities around the globe, providing a snapshot of their progress in deployment and how city governments and companies alike can make the most of this transformation.
