I truly feel connected to and supported by my colleagues in my personal and professional life.

Deciding on McKinsey

I joined McKinsey because I wanted to provide real impact for clients, while working with amazing colleagues.

Rewarding and meaningful experiences

For me, the most rewarding part of being a consultant is seeing our clients overcome difficult situations. To make this happen, I find that not setting any limits on possible solutions early on is essential to finding the right one.

Work environment and colleagues

I am repeatedly inspired by the efforts of my colleagues and the firm leadership. Regardless of the issue we are working on or the challenge our client is facing, our team is unceasing. In particular, I always learn from those colleagues who deliver the messages that we believe are right, without any hesitation, even if the message is difficult to hear. This work culture inspires and challenges me to perform my best. It also illustrates my favorite McKinsey value—the obligation to dissent.

Best thing about working at McKinsey Korea

I enjoy coming to work every day because I have strong relationships with my colleagues. We have lots of opportunities to connect outside the team room—from official firm events to informal gatherings like at a local restaurant. I truly feel connected to and supported by my colleagues in my personal and professional life. As an engagement manager, I am eager to support my colleagues and provide them with the professional opportunities and guidance that I have had.
