Yoichi is a leader of McKinsey’s Japan and Asia Financial Services Practice. He supports clients through problem-solving efforts that combine McKinsey’s global financial-institutions expertise with his own rich consulting background, which includes more than 20 years in the financial-services industry. Yoichi’s work with clients spans an array of projects, such as midterm vision and strategy planning, sustainability (carbon neutral), emerging-market strategy, M&A due diligence, private mortgage insurance, operations improvement, and new business building.

He is also co-leader of McKinsey Digital in Japan and works with global digital experts to help clients in a variety of industries with their digital transformation.
