With the first OEP concluded, this retrospective overview shows that new entrants are playing an important role in shaping the market, Blues are setting the bar as price leaders in nearly half of all markets nationwide, and while carriers are offering consumers a greater choice of networks (with narrow networks becoming increasingly prevalent), they are also building considerable cost sharing into the benefit designs of their exchange products.
