About Gila

Gila is a French-Israeli partner based in McKinsey’s Tel Aviv office, which she joined after six years in the firm’s Chicago office. Passionate about people and their role in driving organizational change, Gila regularly works with companies on culture change, top-team effectiveness, and capability building.

She serves major institutions across a range of sectors, with a focus on healthcare, serving clients across the value chain—including hospitals, pharmacy chains, and pharma and medical devices manufacturers.

Examples of Gila’s client work include the following:

  • supporting multiple clients in leadership-development programs and designing capability-building programs to reskill employees in the context of a fast-changing digital and agile environment
  • leading the change efforts required to create a culture supportive of a global pharmaceutical company’s digital transformation, such as customer-focused user experience, and agile ways of working
  • shaping and launching a commercial excellence program across geographies and developing a capability program focused on patient journeys, multichannel marketing, and sales force excellence
  • supporting healthcare providers and pharmacy chains in the US in building organizational capabilities, such as strategic partnership management, and lean ways of working

Gila is also a dean of McKinsey’s executive-transition master classes in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, which have supported over 100 executives transitioning to new roles, many in new sectors and geographies.

In Israel, she created a forum of HR executives to address the talent trends affecting organizations globally, and their implications in Israel.

Prior to joining McKinsey, Gila spent two years turning around a struggling non-profit organization and five years as a training and change management consultant serving clients across industries.

Gila is the partner sponsor of recruiting for McKinsey in Tel Aviv.
