From lab to jab: Global flows of COVID-19 vaccine

Europe and three countries (China, India, and the United States) will produce 90 percent of the first wave of COVID-19 vaccine doses. African and other Asian countries will be the largest importers. It’s an unprecedented—and deeply complex—task for global logistics.

Our projections of intercontinental flows show Asia (excluding India and China) and Africa will be the biggest recipients of COVID-19 vaccines.
