Flexible remote-work schedules make a big difference for working mothers

COVID-19 caused immediate widespread disruption for all workers, but to varying degrees. Fathers working from home, for example, have had a relatively positive experience. But mothers, whether their experience has been a little or a lot worse than that of working dads, depends on schedule flexibility.

While all workers are experiencing some degree of disruption, the range of experiences is wide.
