Don’t ride so close to me

Only 5 to 8 percent of respondents to our May consumer survey said they felt safe—from a health standpoint—using carsharing, ridesharing, public transport, or shared micromobility services. But 81 percent feel safe in private vehicles.

Less than 10 percent of survey respondents believe carsharing, ridesharing, or shared micromobility to be safe.
