I joined McKinsey at the end of 2011 as a sole recruiter in our Global Services Center in Prague. Now, a few years later, I am honored to be a member of a well-established local recruiting team, and proud of being a part of the incredible journey during which our center has grown to more than 250 colleagues.

In my role, I partner with hiring managers globally to understand their talent needs and build strategies to identify and engage top professionals. This gives me exposure to a variety of job profiles, diverse technologies, and geographies. I am grateful that my role allows me daily to leverage my passions—meeting talented people and matching them to the right career opportunities. I work hand in hand with candidates, act as a trusted advisor, and walk them through all aspects of the recruiting process. There is nothing like the thrill of a candidate’s enthusiastic “I do” to the employment offer!

Before joining McKinsey and returning back home to the Czech Republic, I lived abroad to fulfill my other passion, for travelling and discovering. Living and working in Ireland and the United States in a variety of HR-related roles enriched me professionally and personally. Meeting people from different cultures and adapting to constant change and different work styles were great prerequisites to joining McKinsey. I was happy to find the same level of diversity in the heart of Prague and enjoy the opportunity to interact with colleagues from 25 (and counting!) nationalities day to day.
