Introduction of the role

We are currently looking for a motivated and enthusiastic full-time Executive Assistant to join our team in the Prague office. You will play a key role in providing high-level support to our senior managers. The position is ideal for candidates who have great organizational skills, are open to challenges, do not mind last-minutes changes, are flexible and great team players.

What will you work on?

  • Organize agenda, maintain calendar and effectively leverage time for your senior managers
  • Coordinate travel, lodging arrangements and preferences and assist with itineraries. No worries, we have a dedicated travel department that will book flight tickets and hotels based on your instructions.
  • Manage all communications including phone calls and correspondence that does not require your managers’ personal attention.
  • With minimal guidance, assume responsibility for planning, organizing and executing external and internal meetings, conference calls, videoconferences and events.
  • Support miscellaneous administrative tasks such as timesheets, expenses, letters.
  • Collaborate with other Executive Assistants to ensure back-up coverage.

Who will you work with?

  • You will become a valuable member of the Executive Assistants pool where Jitka, our Executive Assistant Team Leader, can help you to tune almost anything you need in Outlook, and Tereza, our youngest team member, can help you become a multitasking pro.
  • You will support 2-3 senior managers, mostly Czech and Slovak natives, who frequently travel abroad for client meetings.
  • You will cooperate with McKinsey colleagues as well as our clients from all over the world on a daily basis.

What should you have to qualify?

  • A bachelor degree.
  • Fluency in Czech/Slovak and excellent command of oral and written English.
  • Knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel).
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal direction and under pressure.
  • Previous working experience in a collaborative team environment.
  • Resourceful problem-solving ability, common sense and good judgement.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities/processes simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong service orientation, confidence, professional and pleasant style of communication, and a can-do attitude to deliver great service.
  • High professional and ethical standards and respect for confidentiality.
  • Experience in a similar position is an advantage.
