I am ready to build on what I learned during my internship and do my share of helping clients use digitalization to establish themselves as leaders in their industries.

As a graduate of business and IT, I was naturally drawn to McKinsey Digital, so I applied for an internship there. During my 2 months with the firm, I worked on a digital engagement, having ownership over a piece of digital transformation for a major European bank. My second engagement was no less exciting – the firm enabled me to try out a project in another area of my interest, marketing and sales, looking at reducing the customer churn rate for a Czech retail banking leader.

The internship program allowed me to truly experience every aspect of the full-time role. I was a full-fledged member of the team and was challenged to learn and deliver. I got to develop client relationships alongside more senior colleagues, and build my own network within the firm, all whilst getting a huge amount of support from my teams.

I had to step out of my comfort zone and push myself day after day. It was an incredible learning opportunity, and it laid solid foundations for my work with the firm as a full-time Business Analyst.
