Zero-based organization design: How to achieve transformational outcomes by starting with a blank page

Join McKinsey experts Alexander Thiel and Onno Boer on Wednesday, June 27, 2018, at 4:30 PM CET.

McKinsey has been helping companies both large and small conduct comprehensive reorganizations. Too often, status-quo bias stands in the way of impact. Zero-based organization (ZBO) is a new approach we developed to achieve transformational outcomes instead of incremental outcomes. Applying it across multiple industries has led to more transformational outcomes, more significant cost savings, and experiences that are energizing rather than draining.

Attend our webinar to learn about the following topics:

• how ZBO methodology addresses the hurdles of a traditional approach

• how ZBO can help you design a workforce that fuels your strategy in three simple steps

• how companies have used this approach

This presentation will deliver actionable insights and concrete case examples. Alexander Thiel, a partner in McKinsey’s Zurich office and leader of our Organization Design service line in Africa, Europe, and the Middle East, and Onno Boer, an associate partner in the Amsterdam office who specializes in organization transformation and agile methods, will deliver the presentation.
