Central Europe Women’s Internship Program

Do you want to learn what it means to be a consultant? Do you want to benefit from personalized coaching?

As an intern, you will be part of a project team and will do meaningful work from the start. During your internship, senior colleagues will give you individual coaching and mentorship. You will receive training to help you sharpen your communication and problem-solving skills.

Who should apply?

We invite individuals who self-identify as female and are currently pursuing a degree. We welcome all backgrounds, areas of expertise and fields of study.

Some of your personal mentors

Angelina (Angie) Nasonenko

Being an associate based in our Prague office, Angie consults banks, telecommunication and energy companies across the world. Her main expertise is optimization of service operations – she redesigns processes aiming to boost the operational efficiency of companies. Angie’s most recent projects include setting a new operational model for Europe’s major gas distribution company and optimizing the logistics operations for the world’s leading document management company. Before joining the firm, Angie studied and worked in five different countries. She really enjoys the international aspect of McKinsey projects, which gives her the ability to experience diverse working and cultural environments.

Agnieszka Czabańska-Zielińska

Agnieszka is an associate in our Warsaw office. Since joining the firm in December 2016, she’s been leveraging her experience from the retail banking industry by working with several major banks and insurance players across a variety of functions. Her recent projects include developing a strategy for key banks in Eastern Europe, supporting the integration process of two leasing companies after a merger, and designing a digital bancassurance solution. Agnieszka holds a Master of Arts degree in economics with psychology from the University of Edinburgh.

Ekaterina (Katya) Zatsepina

Katya serves a variety of clients—including electric power and oil & gas companies, food producers, and pharma companies across Europe. Her focus is helping organizations implement organizational changes that will boost their operational performance and enhance their people capabilities. Katya’s recent projects include pricing process remodelling for a food producing company and capabilities development for maintenance function efficiency improvement for a food processing player. While she is a native Russian speaker, she is also fluent in French and English.

Anna Spyrzyńska-Kołda

As an engagement manager based in our Warsaw office, Anna mainly works with banking and insurance clients. During the last six years, Anna has traveled to 20+ countries to be a trusted advisor to clients on a variety of projects. Through all of her travels and time spent with clients, Anna discovered her passion for leveraging digital assets to help transform and build new companies. Anna appreciates that she can continually develop professionally, thanks to the constant support and mentorship from her colleagues.

Internship experience

As an intern you will be a full-fledged member of a project team and will work under real conditions on-site with clients to devise concrete solutions. Your opinion and initiative will be called for from day one. After successful completion of the internship, you may receive a full-time job offer from us.

Capability building

Effective communication is a critical ingredient for consultants’ success. In addition to gaining on-the-job experience, you will also receive training from our communications specialists, which will help you build your capabilities in top-down communication, storytelling, and presenting with impact. After the training you will be able to communicate in a more structured, interesting, and confident manner.
