Who You'll Work With

You’ll be part of our global Talent Branding and Engagement team, under our Communications function. This team helps prospective candidates learn about, and be inspired by, the wide variety of career paths at McKinsey and engage with the firm. 
Our current Talent Branding and Engagement team currently includes ten people who span the globe, and we’re growing. We’re an inclusive and collaborative group that offers flexibility and autonomy and expects innovation and execution in equal parts. 
In this role, you will be based in one of our many offices around the world. You will work closely with global leaders and recruiters in Talent Attraction, as well as colleagues in Brand, Communications, Publishing, Social Media, Reach & Relevance, Reputation Risk and Internal Communications. 

What You'll Do

You will lead direct email marketing and cross-channel candidate retention efforts for Talent Attraction at McKinsey.
In this role you develop holistic programs that cultivate warm leads, building and sustaining connections with prospective candidates around the world. You will create a sophisticated candidate relationship management program using a marketing automation platform, direct email marketing tools, and candidate retention best practices. You will create tailored marketing flows, autogenerated campaigns, and right-timed personalized content that optimizes the candidate experience across digital, social, and in-person channels. You may need to source, assess, configure, and implement new tech tools to make this possible. You’ll help us find ways to improve and automate the pre-application experience to make learning about and applying for roles easier for job seekers. 
You’ll advise McKinsey recruiters on best practices around how to launch retention and direct email marketing programs for specific target audiences and measure results. As a subject matter expert, you will regularly communicate your approach, recommendations and successes to team members and Talent Attraction leadership globally.
You will grow and further develop your existing skills in marketing automation, direct email marketing and candidate retention with the support of your colleagues.  Your expertise will help recruit the next generation of talent to help McKinsey accomplish its purpose to create enduring, positive change in the world.   

Qualifications

  • University degree 
  • 5+ years of experience in CRM, preferably in a recruiting/employer branding context and preferably in a professional services firm
  • Familiarity with Marketo, Eloqua, or other marketing automation platforms AND Epsilon PCM, Avature or other email marketing programs strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of CRM, marketing automation, and direct email marketing metrics and measurement approaches
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, often virtually
  • Exceptional organization and project management skills to handle multiple priorities in a fast-changing environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively - both verbally and in writing - in English as well as the local office language
  • An entrepreneurial spirit to launch a full marketing automation program and tailor and strengthen our direct email marketing and candidate retention programs
