You will be a cornerstone of our Korea operations, bridging the gap between meticulous local compliance and global financial standards.
From the precision of a journal entry to the strategic nuance of a high-level performance analysis, you will navigate the full spectrum of finance.
You will report directly to the Senior Finance Manager in the Korea office. You will act as a vital link between local office and our Global Shared Service Center, requiring seamless collaboration across time zones. As a trusted thought-partner, you will interact with various internal stakeholders and external tax advisors, providing clarity and insight into the Korea office’s financial health.
You will help shape the direction of this capability from the ground up while partnering closely with colleagues across region.
You will manage full-cycle local corporate finance operations including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, Accounts Payable, vendor contracts and cash management. You will take full ownership of local tax requirements, including monthly withholding/social tax payments, quarterly VAT filings and annual corporate tax return in partnership with external tax advisors, PwC.
You will ensure all reporting remains compliant with US/KR GAAP, coordinate both internal and external audit requests, and review office performance reports and lead budgeting processes to provide leadership with a clear view of financial trajectories.
Lastly, you will perform other ad-hoc analysis and participate in special projects as assigned. Your responsibilities are not limited to the above and may evolve to meet the changing needs of Office. You will be covering comfortably from "scratch-level" daily process to executive-level strategic summaries.
