You will facilitate superior communication between client service professionals and clients, ensuring accuracy and nuance in both written translations and spoken interpretation.
You will be a thought partner to our client-facing colleagues, providing expert advice on language and communication strategies.
Your work will involve translating complex, client-ready documents across a range of formats, providing sophisticated advice on audience tailoring and points of grammar/style across a wide spectrum of topics and business-writing genres. You will edit documents for style, logical flow, and impact, and importantly, you will coach and mentor peer translators on a regular basis, helping to elevate the quality of our team.
In high-impact meetings, you will facilitate communication by converting spoken statements from one language to another, and you will also be responsible for coaching peer interpreters, sharing your expertise to develop their skills. Your work will be critical to the success of our client engagements, ensuring our teams can deliver high-quality, impactful work without language barriers.
You will be based in Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh as part of our Translation & Interpretation team, which delivers exceptional language services that empower our firm's global communication and client engagements. You are expected to travel to various parts of Vietnam for work requirements.#LI-MP

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
  • 5+ years of translating/interpreting experience, ideally in a corporate environment with expertise in a certain industry or sector; editing experience is a plus
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Teams), familiarity with translation tools and technology is preferred 
  • Ability to work well both in teams and independently, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Collaborative team player who can work closely with various departments and provide technical mentorship and coaching to junior talent
  • High degree of self-motivation, with a commitment to high-quality and service standards
  • Proficiency and fluency level language skills in verbal and written Vietnamese and English. Superior written and oral communication skills with a strong client service orientation
