You will design, build, and operate scalable, secure, and reliable systems supporting SaaS applications and platforms.
You will work in Agile, cross-functional teams alongside product managers, developers, and operations specialists to develop infrastructure, automate provisioning, enforce security controls, and continuously improve system performance and reliability. You will contribute to CI/CD practices, monitoring, incident response, and root cause analysis while leveraging cloud-native technologies, containerization, and open-source tooling.
Your work will directly support McKinsey’s transition to a digital and technology-driven organization by enabling high-performing, resilient systems that empower teams and clients to make timely, data-driven decisions.
You will be based in Costa Rica as part of our DevOps Team within the Tech Ecosystem group, collaborating with a globally distributed team.

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
- 5+ years of corporate and/or professional services experience
- Strong experience with DevSecOps practices
- Programming experience in Python
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible
- Experience with CI/CD tools, specifically GitHub
- Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, Elastic)
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and operating systems (Linux/Windows)
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
