Who You'll Work With

You will be based in our office in Herzliya, to be part of our Platform Team and play a critical role in our mission to deliver the highest quality and efficiency of our product software development. 
You will join a strong team of tech savvy and fast delivering engineers, responsible for the orchestration of the Iguazio Data Science PaaS as well as various closed and open-source projects in the MLOps domain. Iguazio provides an MLOps platform which automates and accelerates the data science process, enabling the rollout of new AI services continuously across the enterprise.
Iguazio provides a Data Science Platform to automate machine learning pipelines. It accelerates the development, deployment and management of AI applications at scale, enabling data scientists to focus on delivering better, more accurate and more powerful solutions instead of spending their time on infrastructure. The platform is open and deployable anywhere - multi-cloud, on prem or edge. Iguazio powers real-time data science applications for financial services, healthcare, media and entertainment, retail, manufacturing, smart mobility and telecoms.

What You'll Do

You will join a young codebase, written in Python and Go and co-own and contribute to Iguazio open-source projects. You will lead features from inception and analysis, to design, implementation, testing, and maintenance.
You will participate in product-changing architectural choices, exercise ownership on various components/tools, and keep learning new skill sets. You will deep dive into the K8s Eco-system and the cutting-edge systems and technologies in this area. You will learn about multi-cloud technologies and gain experience working with diverse infrastructure types, from hybrid-cloud and multi-cloud, to BM deployment.

Qualifications

  • Academic degree in Computer Science/ Industrial Engineering or equivalent
  • 6+ years of backend development experience
  • Hands-on experience in Python or Go; strong control of python or go is a plus
  • Work experience in backend design and architecture
  • Work experience developing from scratch
  • Work experience in distributed systems and parallel programming
  • Strong ability to dive into the unknown (code/theory) independently across the entire stack
  • Excellent English communication and presentation skills
  • K8s management and eco system experience is a plus
  • Experience in managing and automating cloud infrastructure is a plus
