You will be responsible for executing and maintaining strong controls in compliance with firm accounting policies, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of monthly financial results for the Santiago Office.
You will own defined accounting processes within that location and support related initiatives with appropriate guidance, contributing to continuous improvement in processes, controls, reporting, and compliance.
You will execute and maintain core accounting processes for Santiago Office, ensuring compliance with firm policies and accuracy of monthly results, including journal entries, allocations, and balance sheet reconciliations. You will review P&L and balance sheet activity for the Santiago Office, investigate variances, and escalate complex or judgment-based matters to the direct manager as appropriate. You will collaborate with FGO and finance partners to support reconciliations, reporting requirements, and resolution of accounting issues impacting the location. You will provide accounting analysis and reporting support to local stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate financial information. You will support audit, tax, and governance requirements applicable to the location in accordance with firm standards and local regulations.
You will contribute to process improvements and automation efforts within the local accounting environment to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and control. You will engage primarily with peers and the direct manager to coordinate work, resolve issues, and ensure alignment on accounting priorities. You will provide informal coaching and knowledge sharing to junior colleagues within the team to promote consistency and professional development. You will lead finance projects and reporting initiatives within the office/location, managing project teams to deliver enhancements in financial insight, reporting quality, and process effectiveness.
