You will play a key role in proposal management and client development. Your focus will be on driving end-to-end proposal development and management for NA SHaPE clients (80%), and creating and maintaining a library of proposal materials (20%).
Proposal support:You’ll help partners and teams win proposals by managing development of high-quality proposals. On a specific proposal, you will manage the end-to-end development process, starting with leading a kickoff meeting to define our value proposition. The work will involve interpreting RFP requirements, establishing a working rhythm, and supporting partners in facilitating the proposal development team. As the expert in US public sector procurement, you will coach teams on industry best practices and methods for proposal writing.
You will assemble and review proposal drafts, edit material, and ensure final formatting and layout of proposals in preparation for production. Working collaboratively with teams, you will also develop content for non-technical portions of the proposal response such as staffing, risk management, resumes, and reference cases, and ensure compliance with client requirements.
Infrastructure support:You will build and strengthen the SHaPE practice’s proposal infrastructure and institutional capabilities and processes. You will create a proposal library of best practice wording and guidance, develop and maintain a database of proposal activity and client feedback, and analyze and report on activity and trends to NA SHaPE leadership.
