You will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, availability, and functionality of McKinsey’s physical security systems across global offices.
Based in  San Jose, Costa Rica, you will audit and monitor security devices worldwide, troubleshoot on‑premises access control hardware and software, administer physical and mobile credentials, and partner closely with office IT colleagues and external vendors to resolve complex issues and maintain a secure environment for the firm’s operations.

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent field 
  • 2+ years relevant experience in IT Security related field  
  • Proven experience identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving complex issues with access control hardware
  • Proficiency in security domain knowledge, particularly Lenel OnGuard systems 
  • Experience with video management systems such as Genetec, Milestone, or Avigilon 
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Nagios, ITNM, Zabbix, or SolarWinds 
  • Strong understanding of Windows OS, Active Directory, and related services 
  • Knowledge of SQL and Snowflake is preferred 
  • Basic understanding of cloud solutions such as AWS, GCP, and Azure 
  • Solid networking knowledge including DHCP, DNS, VLAN, IPv4, Zero Trust architecture, and subnetting 
  • Experience working with incident management tools such as ServiceNow 
  • Business level language skills in English, both written and verbal
