Educational Background: An excellent academic background, including a recognized tax or accounting qualification (ACA, ATT, CTA) or a recognized US tax qualification (EA, CPA).
Experience: 10+ years of experience in US Federal and State personal taxes, including experience in the management of the personal tax affairs of US executives based in, or moving to or from, the US and related social tax/payroll withholding issues. This experience might have been gained either in practice or in-house at a large multinational corporation. Experience ideally includes handling high-net worth individuals or senior executives.
Expertise: Experience in payroll withholding matters for US resident Partners, including State taxes in resident and non-resident States. Detailed understanding of individual tax taxes in the US and working knowledge of US tax return information.
Problem-Solving Skills: Outstanding tax and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead the design and implement workable tax operational processes
Collaboration: Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels and across a wide range of countries
Independence: Ability to work independently, leading a number of projects simultaneously
Global Perspective: Experience in leading global projects and multiple stakeholders
Communication Skills: Very strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues to various stakeholders
