You will lead workstreams that drive integrated change and improve our ability to anticipate, identify and respond to risks in the firm.
You will be responsible for contributing to building program and change strategy, managing tech delivery, developing communications and supporting monitoring and compliance through data analytics.
Your work will turn risk reviews into a consistent, trusted capability that enables responsible innovation. The improved workflows and systems will make doing the right thing the easy thing – giving teams the clarity and confidence to deliver technology safely and effectively for our firm and clients.
You will be part of McKinsey’s Client Service Risk (CSR) function, whose mission is to enable McKinsey’s client impact and innovation, while managing risks to our clients, our firm, and our people. In the Global Technology Risk team, we are enabling positive and lasting impact from the Tech and AI revolution through pragmatic, expert and integrated technology risk capabilities. Our goal is to act as trusted thought-partners to the firm's leadership on technology and its risks, serving as innovative problem. We offer deep expertise that is alive to emerging issues and trends, drawing on a strong network of relationships within and beyond the firm.
You will partner closely with Risk, Technology, and other functions to mitigate and safeguard the firm from risk and enable smarter, safer technology innovation.
This team supports our engagement and technology as strategic risk advisors, ensuring that our client service and technology delivery meet firm and regulatory standards.
Your work involves playing a lead role in identifying emerging risks and planning gaps to deliver actionable solutions for domain leaders. You will independently execute complex projects, syndicating with senior stakeholders to drive change. You'll also lead diverse workstreams of colleagues, vendors, and clients to deploy programs that meet regulatory and firm policies.
Additionally, you will structure problem-solving sessions, anticipate core risk management needs, and provide proactive thought partnership and analytical support to firm leaders. Beyond driving complex analyses and developing long-term data solutions, you will mentor the team, prioritize activities, and scale existing knowledge capabilities.

- Bachelor’s degree required (computer science, technology, data analytics, risk management, or related field)
- 4+ years of experience in risk management, product management, information security, or technology
- Experience in effectively communicating security and risk-related concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
- Outstanding organizational and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently; excellent communication and presentation skills; entrepreneurial and collaborative attitude
- Independent and effective project manager, driving individual workstreams/projects to impact amidst competing priorities or under pressure
- Identifies gaps, and develops sound recommendations that are clearly articulated to stakeholders
- Leverages knowledge/expertise to generate insights on trends and provide thoughtful recommendations
- Maintains an ownership mentality and takes the initiative to contribute to broader efforts or special projects
- Ability to work in-person and travel as needed (team schedules and office locations may vary)
