You will primarily be supporting the Digital Practice while contributing to broader client engagement and practice operations activities across the office.
As McKinsey Japan continues to grow and evolve, so do the capabilities required to support our client service teams.
You will help enable effective practice management operations, CRM operations, and collaboration across multiple teams. While your primary focus will be supporting the Digital Practice, you will also have opportunities to contribute to other Client Hub-related initiatives and support other key functions and practice priorities as needed.
You will be a part of the Client Hub community and work closely with colleagues across Digital, Client Strategy, CRM, Client Communications, Events, Reputation & Engagement, and other teams across McKinsey Japan. You will work closely with practice leaders, consultants, Client Hub colleagues, and other stakeholders across the firm to help drive practice management and operational excellence.
You will support the day-to-day operations of the Digital Practice, including meetings and offsite planning and operations, document and material preparation, coordinating and administering meetings and events, managing practice communications, certification management, supporting ad-hoc leadership requests, and helping ensure smooth execution of practice priorities.
You will support CRM-related administration including data quality management, client information maintenance, reporting, client outreach coordination, and other activities that strengthen capability for systematic client outreach and client relationship management across the office.
You will contribute to additional Client Hub and other JNO client practice priorities as business needs evolve. Depending on business needs, this may include supporting other private sector practices, client engagement initiatives, events, reporting, research, analytics, or other administrative and operational activities that help the office achieve its objectives. Lastly, additional priorities will evolve over time.

- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 2+ years of experience in administration and operations in the area of Digital, CRM, marketing, sales operations, client service, or related fields
- Strong ownership mindset, with the ability to proactively identify needs, take initiative, and follow through to completion.
- Excellent organizational skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and sensitivity when handling confidential information
- Experience working with CRM platforms, databases, or client information systems; familiarity with CRM platforms is a plus
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint; experience working with data, analysis, reporting, and dashboards is preferred
- Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and implement practical solutions. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic proficiency in GenAI tools and AI platforms
- Strong interest in technology, AI, digital innovation, and emerging tech trends
- Ability to work in-person and travel as needed
- Strong communication skills in both Japanese and English, with the ability to enjoy intense collaboration and work effectively across different stakeholder groups
