In a team of typically ~3-5 consultants, you will shape and drive end-to-end digital transformations across business, technology, process and people, creating value by reinventing the core of our client's businesses.
This work includes gathering and analyzing information, formulating and testing hypotheses, and developing and communicating recommendations. You’ll also present results to client management and implement recommendations in collaboration with client team members.
You will receive exceptional training as well as frequent coaching and mentoring from your team. This support includes a Partner assigned to you to help guide your career as well as formal training throughout your McKinsey career. Additionally, you'll receive guidance and support from our Partners and professional development team in the selection of client projects, helping you to develop your skills and build your network.
You will be based in our Tokyo/Kansai office and will be part of the Tech & AI at McKinsey team. The team brings together the best of McKinsey’s digital capabilities to help our clients use digital technology to transform their businesses. As part of this group, you’ll join a global team working on everything from IT modernization and strategy to agile, cloud, cybersecurity, and digital transformation.
You will work on projects in a wide range of sectors and industries. Some Tech & AI at McKinsey consultants work exclusively within digital, while others mix their digital focus with broader consulting work (e.g., operations, organization, strategy, corporate finance, marketing and sales, etc.).
3〜5名程度のチームの一員として、ビジネス、テクノロジー、プロセス、組織・人材にわたるエンド・ツー・エンドのデジタル・トランスフォーメーションにおいて、クライアント企業のビジネスの中核を再定義することで、新たな価値を創出いただきます。
具体的には、情報収集と分析、仮説の構築と検証、そして戦略策定をいただきます。また、クライアントの経営陣に対して成果をプレゼンテーションし、クライアントのチームメンバーとの協働を通して実行支援もいただきます。

- University degree; an advanced university degree in technical, scientific, or business/economics/analytics disciplines preferred
- 5+ years of professional experience in SIer, IT solution provider, Professional services firm or at IT division or Start-up in similar industries
- Outstanding track record of academic and professional achievements
- Combination of strong strategic and analytical abilities with a passion for technology
- Proven track record of leadership in a work setting and/or through extracurricular activities
- Ability to work or attend meetings outside of traditional business hours or take on projects with limited or no notice at times
- Ability to travel to and work in varying environments that may be challenging and/or not accessible (e.g., factories, hospitals, mines)
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in Japanese and English
- 4年制大学以上の学位（尚可：技術、科学、ビジネス/経済/アナリティクス分野の上位学位）
- SIer、ITソリューションプロバイダー、プロフェッショナルサービスファーム、あるいはテクノロジー系スタートアップや事業会社のIT部門における5年以上の実務経験
- 学業および実務における、極めて優秀な実績・成果をお持ちの方
- 高い戦略的・分析的能力と、テクノロジーに対する強い情熱の双方を兼ね備えていること
- 職場や課外活動などを通じて優れたリーダーシップ経験があること
- 通常の業務時間外での勤務や会議への出席、あるいは、事前の通知がほとんど（または全く）ない状態でプロジェクトに参画できる柔軟性があること
- 工場、病院、鉱山など、場合によっては困難な環境やアクセスの限られた多様な環境へ出張し、現地で勤務できること
- 日本語と英語で円滑にコミュニケーションが図れる方
