Four events in one month

A view from our San Francisco office

– Hi readers,

This month has been chock full of McKinsey events for me!

I attended the North America Partners Summit a few weeks ago, and had an action-packed agenda over three days. In addition to the plenary for all attendees, I attended sessions and dinners for each of my home practices—GEM (Global Energy & Materials), S&CF (Strategy & Corporate Finance), SRP (Sustainability & Resource Productivity)—as well as a women's drinks celebration where we toasted our female senior partners who were recently elected.

Last week, I spent a couple of days in San Francisco at our first Digital Leadership Summit, hosted for our clients considering embarking on a digital transformation. The event was very interactive and engaging, and I came away with a lot of insights in how to run a digital transformation program. (See the photo of the Lego city we built in one exercise.)

Last week I also attended our Midwest Office women's event, with the topic of 'navigating your happiness journey'. It has been a great opportunity to meet a lot of our female colleagues and grow my network in the office. (I am still meeting new people since transferring from London just a few months ago.)

And finally, this week I'll be travelling to Arizona for our Chicago Office retreat, which takes place every 18-24 months. More on that in my next posting!

Best wishes,
