A new responsibility in my new role

Happy October, everyone! I've been back from a fantastic summer PTO in the Rocky Mountains for about two weeks now, and have been quite busy catching up on all my clients, knowledge network efforts I'm driving with my teams, and getting ready for year-end evaluations.

I've been back from a fantastic summer PTO in the Rocky Mountains for about two weeks now (see my photo below), and have been quite busy catching up on all my clients, knowledge network efforts I'm driving with my teams, and getting ready for year-end evaluations.

For the first time, I've been asked to join one of our review committees, and I'm very much looking forward to serving as one of the reviewers. I've been a development group leader ("DGL") to three junior colleagues for a few years now, and it's always been a great experience collecting their feedback, writing up their cases and presenting it to their committee. Maybe in my next post I can share a bit more about my experience being on a review committee!
