After obtaining a post–graduate degree from the London School of Economics, I returned to Thailand and started my career in banking. Within the first few years, I realized I was looking for three opportunities:
a. work on company’s the most strategic and critical challenges
b. create change in organizations and society
c. enjoy workdays that are exciting and fun
I spoke to several consultants and became convinced McKinsey could offer all this. And my expectations have been met. We do the best, most interesting and meaningful work. My most memorable engagement has been helping an organization in Thailand become a top–quartile company in Asia. Together, we have transformed the whole company – from its refineries to marketing & sales, procurement to HR. We’re building capabilities for the employees by setting up a Model Plant that demonstrates best practices. The organization is truly transforming.
Along the way, I have met and made amazing friends who have inspired me. I’m delivering real impact while having fun every day.
About Mim:
Outside work, I spend time with my family and friends. I love playing all kinds of sports; running, swimming, tennis, wakeboarding, kiteboarding, boxing, anything! I love traveling with friends: scuba diving in the Philippines, snowboarding in Japan, freediving in the south of Thailand and hiking in Patagonia (my favorite destination).
