At McKinsey, you’ll apply disruptive tech to solve the world’s toughest problems, surrounded by exceptional people to help you reach new heights.
We have an array of opportunities available, from data scientists who leverage big data to solve the toughest client challenges to product owners who drive new product innovation, and software engineers who create novel, scalable software solutions.
You will bring together the best of McKinsey’s digital capabilities to help our clients use digital technology to transform their businesses. You’ll join a global team working on everything from IT modernization and digital strategy to agile, cloud, advanced analytics and digital business building. You’ll typically work on projects across all industries and functions and will be fully integrated with the rest of our global firm.
You will lead the execution of digital product development and transformation projects for leading industry businesses in Europe.
You will be a core member of the McKinsey consulting team with responsibilities that range from shaping product vision and strategic designs, to managing and transforming agile product and leadership teams. In this role, you will engage in some of the most challenging business problems our clients are facing. These projects can range from rapid process reinventions at leading financial institutions, big data analytics at large-scale retail organizations, to consumer-facing app development for traditional industries. As a product expert, you will typically be at the center of the problem solving, advising clients on how to successfully execute their strategic vision.
You will help build and sometimes lead new disruptive digital businesses for large organizations, driving lasting innovation.
This role provides the opportunity to work at the intersection of strategy consulting, technology and new ways of working. Depending on client needs, you will work with a team to either create a new digital unit for an existing business or incubate and ultimately scale a new stand-alone business. In both contexts, we start with a strong mandate for innovation and seed teams with Digital Labs practitioners—product owners, user-centric designers, engineers, agile experts and more—and a strong interim leadership team to operate the new entity. Together with your team, you will create a vision and roadmap. The new digital unit will look, feel and operate like a start-up and be a center of innovation.
You will work in multi-disciplinary environments harnessing data to provide real-world impact for organizations globally. You will influence many of the recommendations our clients need to positively change their businesses and enhance performance. You will work on the frameworks and libraries that our teams of data scientists and data engineers use to progress from data to impact. You will guide global companies through data science solutions across industries including healthcare, automotive, energy and elite sport.
You will use data creatively to solve business challenges, often uncovering new and transformative opportunities along the way. In this role, you will apply state-of-the-art advanced analytics, quantitative tools, and modeling techniques to interpret, make inferences, and offer recommendations based on insights from the data. You will create new algorithms from scratch.
You will develop new products leveraging cloud technologies and microservices architecture patterns. You will be an active learner, identifying new open source libraries, using unfamiliar technologies and learning new programming languages to meet technical requirements.
In teams, you will contribute to the architecture across the technology stack from database to native apps. You will create rapid prototypes as well as full-scale applications typically within two-to-three months, by working collaboratively and iteratively through design and development to deliver fully functional web-based and mobile applications that meet business goals.
As a cloud engineer, you will play a critical role in driving the design, development and implementation of diverse public cloud initiatives—AWS, Azure, GCP. You will be responsible for providing cutting-edge technology solutions to Fortune 500 enterprises.
Your work will be hands on in the creation of software components, modules and integrations. You will also create software testing implementations including unit, functional, acceptance, performance and security tests. As a cloud engineer, you will be a key team member in development cycles and provide feedback on technical constraints. You will implement dynamically scalable and highly available services and deploy production systems into cloud environments.
You will apply the human-centered design approach on a variety of projects that integrate digital designs into products, services and environments.
In this role, you will be responsible for key design deliverables across a variety of stages and client priorities, from research and insight generation to concept and delivery. As a member of our team, you will join in our significant and serious efforts to embed design into strategic problems. On your projects, you will work on blended cross-functional teams and will tackle all aspects of the design process. You will think creatively and strategically, dissecting business problems and using design methodologies to develop innovative outcomes.
Functional Analyst: You will help teams in creating value and accelerating the delivery of S/4 HANA-based business transformations.
In this role, you will intervene at each step of the lifecycle of the business transformation. You will drive value identification at the sub-process level based on new functional capabilities of the S/4 HANA solution but also on best practices for the operating model for the function in your scope of expertise. During the implementation, using our Agile ERP approach, you will be a leader and challenger in business process design or fit-gap sessions as well as advisor for complex functional deliverables of the system integrator such as organization structure, master data, configuration and customization choices.
Solution Architect: You will engage with our world-class consulting, engineering and program teams to lead large scale ERP implementations for external clients.
In this role, you will operate cross-functionally in ERP initiatives and translate client business needs to an ERP and business systems architecture while running diagnostics of ERP environments to make recommendations of the optimal enterprise systems architecture. Using best practices, you will architect SAP solutions for deployment, configuration, and operations that are simple and have scalability, maintainability, and resiliency. You will focus on business drivers and system functionality to influence senior firm and client stakeholders while providing architecture and delivery of the full ERP and business system vision.
Program Manager: You will lead the day-to-day execution and management of large-scale strategic S/4 HANA implementations, while guiding and developing individual team members.
Requirements might differ depending on role
