About Bhagya

I love being able to connect the dots with data and find meaningful insights.

Quick Q&A

Favorite part of your role?

The variety of the work and knowing you’re always using the latest technologies, such as artificial intelligence. The learning curve really is unending, since the types of projects and challenges are constantly changing. We move fast here, and when one engagement ends, we’re on to the next.

Most memorable project?

Building a robot! We have a competition going on now where I’m working in a team of 29 to first build the prototype, and then we’ll launch a real robot using artificial intelligence.

What surprised you the most?

When I first started, I didn’t have all the technical skills needed to be a lead data engineer, and so I was in more of a lead-data-engineer support role. Within a few months, I told my manager that I wanted to get to a place where I was leading development. My colleagues gave me the support I needed to make this happen, and within a year I was assisting the lead, building the processes, and then handing things over to someone before moving on to development.
