Helps organizations create more sustainable and inclusive growth while accelerating the progress toward net zero

Kimberley is a leader in the McKinsey Sustainability Practice in Australia and New Zealand who serves public- and private-sector clients on sustainability and net zero strategy.

She leads thinking on how governments can orchestrate and accelerate progress toward net zero across whole economies and the organizational considerations to support implementation.

Some examples of her recent work include the following:

  • designing and deploying the Australian Major Projects Leadership Academy, alongside faculty from Stanford University
  • leading work with a state government to develop frameworks for investment in climate risk and adaptation measures
  • working with government agencies to design and deliver COVID-19-related economic support and growth strategies
  • uplifting the capability and leadership strength of government departments and agencies at both national and state level

Prior to McKinsey, Kimberley worked for 15 years in senior executive leadership roles across national and state government portfolios including environment, agriculture, planning, transport, procurement, digital transformation, and central agencies. She also served as a principal with an Australian consulting group.

Kimberley has also worked with foodbanks and the YMCA on youth justice on a pro bono basis and served in voluntary positions in the Institute of Public Administration Australia.

When not driven by social purpose, Kimberley is driven by her passion for the natural environment. She is an avid conservationist, whale watcher, native plant enthusiast, and national park and natural world heritage aficionado.
