Brian is a leader in the Banking and Risk & Resilience Practices. He advises clients on a broad range of issues spanning strategy, growth, risk and technology with the aim of helping organizations achieve long term sustainable performance.

Brian has more than two decades of global experience spanning over 20 countries. Most recently he has focused on helping financial institutions effectively navigate emerging risks (e.g., digital assets, commercial real estate), regulations (e.g., Basel 3 endgame) and shifts in the financial services ecosystem (e.g., increased capital intensity, reliance on technology).

Before joining McKinsey, Brian was in a variety of investment banking roles covering financial institutions in North America, Asia and Australia. His investment banking work covered a range of transactions including mergers, acquisitions, country exits, restructurings, capital raisings and distressed situations.
