Examples of Yuito’s recent work include the following:

  • leading country decarbonization pathways in Asia, developing Japan’s roadmap toward its 2030 decarbonization goal of a 26 percent reduction from 2013 levels; the roadmap was supported by industry associations and set the stage for the target rising to a 46 percent reduction
  • developing climate risk strategies in Asia, working with multilateral organizations across Asia to build awareness, convene decision makers, and propose solutions to mitigate climate risk exposure
  • leading sustainable recovery from COVID-19 in Japan, guiding the development of the country’s grand design for achieving sustainable agriculture in the wake of the pandemic, enabling farmers to sell directly to consumers and earning the partnership of Japan’s largest agriculture financial institutions
