Yakov joined the Moscow office in 2008. He leads our work in business systems design, organizational development, and agile implementation across numerous industries.
His main area of specialization is end-to-end transformations that help create high productivity organization and management models and drive efficiency culture.
Examples of recent projects:
- development and implementation of a large-scale operations system design and organizational transformation program for a large metallurgy holding;
- end-to-end customer centricity improvement strategy development and agile implementation for one of the leading companies in the basic materials industry;
- governance model design for an intergovernmental private equity fund;
- end-to-end management costs optimization program for a large basic materials company.
Prior to joining McKinsey, Yakov worked as a consultant for MC HydroOGK (later, PAO RusHydro).
He holds a PhD in Economics, and he is also a professor.
