Advises senior leaders and drives innovation and go-to-market performance for leading companies in the telecommunications, technology, consumer, and media industries

As managing partner, Yael leads McKinsey’s New York office. In this capacity, she unites different practices, functions, and pathways in one of the firm’s largest and most diverse offices.

Yael is also a senior partner in McKinsey’s Technology, Media & Telecommunications Practice, where she advises leadership on commercial growth through sales and marketing, digital transformation, and strategy. She also spearheads McKinsey’s global network of Experience Studios, which serves as a series of innovation spaces for clients to participate in experiential workshops, capability-building programs, and interact with local tech and start-up communities.

She has previously led the firm’s product transformation efforts, which focused on portfolio optimization through innovation, as well as McKinsey’s client and firm communications in the Americas.

In addition to her work with McKinsey, Yael was also the producer of a documentary on HIV, which won an Audience Award at the Los Angeles Film Festival, and serves on the board of the Juilliard School and was formerly a member of the not-for-profit organization Film at Lincoln Center.
