Vito is a core leader of McKinsey’s global banking work and chairs the Asia Banking Knowledge Committee. Before transferring to Tokyo, he supported retail- and private-banking clients in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. He helps banks, insurance companies, and other financial institutions enhance their operations, bringing key insights on topics ranging from growth strategy and service model to digital and cultural/behavioral transformation.

During his time at McKinsey, Vito has been involved in an array of transformational programs in which he has guided the design and launch of successful banking and insurance businesses. He has also driven implementation of large-scale digital-transformation programs.

Some of Vito’s recent projects include designing and implementing an innovative multichannel business model for a large international retail bank, and building a new digital bank in Asia. Vito was also instrumental in conducting a major transformation program to improve branch-network sales performance, which involved changing front-line mindsets and behaviors at a multinational financial institution.

Vito is well regarded in the banking community for his knowledge efforts and his publications on banking topics, including retail distribution, digital banking, and consumer finance.
