Theano Liakopoulou is a core member of McKinsey’s Operations Practice in Europe and leads our Operations Practice in France, where she is currently based. She was formerly part of the firm’s London and Athens offices and led the Procurement Practice in Europe.

Theano works primarily in the pharmaceutical, consumer goods, and energy sectors, helping companies transform their operations. She has deep expertise in designing and implementing procurement transformations and she helps companies collaborate effectively with partners across the value chain, redesign their operating model, and upskill the organization.

Theano is passionate about advanced analytics and the opportunities they create for operations. She works with pioneering organizations in procurement and supply chain to help them harness the power of analytics and realize a step change in their performance in a rapid and sustainable manner. She is leading McKinsey’s global efforts to advance the thinking and approaches for delivering impactful, at-scale analytics transformations in procurement.

Prior to joining McKinsey, Theano worked for Procter & Gamble in Belgium and in Greece.
