Tak is a founding member of our Recovery & Transformation Services Practice (RTS) in Japan. He serves companies undergoing fundamental transformations and provides expertise in the areas of change management and organization, M&A and merger management, lean, and after services.
One of Tak’s recent engagements as part of our RTS Practice included designing three turnarounds and good-to-great transformations for a global manufacturing company.
In the high-tech space, Tak recently conducted an end-to-end M&A strategy, as well as due diligence, and then merger management, in collaboration with global headquarters, resulting in the leading company in Japan.
Tak joins other McKinsey colleagues in ongoing research efforts to support Japanese companies’ turnarounds and transformations. He has been in the turnaround-and-transformation world since joining Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry where he led three major government-side turnarounds.
