Steve is based in McKinsey's Atlanta office where he helps manufacturing and distribution clients across sales and marketing topics. He has particular expertise in helping organizations with large sales forces grow above the market by developing advanced analytics capabilities and transforming organizations. As a leader of McKinsey's implementation capability for sales and marketing, Steve also helps clients execute and embed commercial changes across decentralized organizations.
Some of Steve's recent work includes:
- transforming the end-to-end sales process for a leading manufacturer
- transforming the pricing capabilities of a global B2B distributor, resulting in 200 basis points of margin growth
- developing an assortment and pricing strategy for a leading food service distributor
- turning around same-store sales for a national quick service restaurant chain
In addition to his client work, Steve takes an active role in the Atlanta community, particularly in the economic development of downtown Atlanta.
