Rick is a partner in McKinsey’s New Jersey office and a leader of McKinsey’s Transformation Practice and the firm’s RTS unit. Since joining the firm in 2011, he has led large-scale transformations and turnaround programs in several industries including financial services, consumer packaged goods, and retail.

Rick works in collaboration with companies to understand their business models and the challenges and opportunities they face. Examples of his recent client work include the following:

  • developing a strategy to improve operations, optimize G&A, and improve procurement efficiency for a North American mortgage services provider
  • leading the transformation of a global cosmetics company experiencing significant customer decline and increasing operating costs
  • transforming a global healthcare logistics and medical supplies business focusing on IT modernization, procurement, and developing revenue-generating business units
  • leading the turnaround of a global provider of food ingredient services experiencing extreme competitive and geopolitical pressures resulting in several years of negative profitability

Prior to joining McKinsey, Rick was an investment banking and private equity analyst at a global independent investment bank and an investment banking analyst at the subsidiary of a major multinational bank.
