About Rebecca

Since joining McKinsey, Rebecca has advised global companies looking for strategic growth opportunities. Working primarily with semiconductor, high tech, and healthcare industry clients, she supports executives to develop growth strategies. Where inorganic growth is relevant, she helps evaluate a full range of partnership, joint venture, merger, acquisition, and divestiture opportunities and build the skills to pursue them. Once a course is set, she guides both planning and execution, ensuring that efforts achieve their goals and create value.

Her support includes defining the growth roadmap, identifying synergies, integrating organizations, and setting up to pursue new business opportunities.

Examples of her work include:

  • setting a growth strategy for a company seeking opportunities beyond its core business
  • designing a value-capture program for a company divestiture, including establishing a headcount and cost baseline
  • designing a merger management and transformation program for a Japanese and US technology company focusing on pre-transaction planning and value creation
  • managing a comprehensive merger management program including planning, revenue value creation, organization design, and strategies for culture and change management
