About Miriam

Miriam has more than 20 years’ experience in implementation consulting and has worked across multiple sectors, including mining, oil and gas, metals beneficiation, and manufacturing. She has served clients in Australia, Southeast Asia, and South Africa.

Her recent work includes:

  • leading the design and implementation of a rapid turnaround program for three coal mines that represented roughly 40 percent of the total dollar value of the overall portfolio
  • delivering a 60 percent increase in the quarterly average of wells online over 9 months for an oil and gas company, and designing and implementing a 12-month program-delivery plan; included new wells and major well optimization
  • designing and implementing cascaded operational reviews for 80 operational leadership roles in a recently commissioned 42-million-ton-per-annum iron-ore open-cut mine
  • implementing an improvement pipeline for 40 procurement initiatives for a rail transporter, spanning categories including wagons, track, and electricity
  • leading the design and development of a distinctive digital application for frontline supervisors to drive impact in three core areas: safety, productivity (volume and costs), and engagement

Miriam is a founding member of McKinsey Implementation and has a relentless focus on tangible impact. She is sought after by clients for her ability to translate theoretical concepts into operational practices and rapid sustainable results.
